Thank you for the info, I had found this before, but it still does not match the info from the census records. I know that Bessie is a nickname from Elizabeth and I can accept that he married a Bessie, but the thing is that unless Mary married an Adams first then it doesnt make sense. Mary Elizabeth Coles death record of 1922 in Washington Maine, stated that her parents were Moses Nash and Lydia Hardford. And in 1910 he is living with Mary who was born around the same year as this Bessie Adams, So I guess what I need to do is find a marriage for Mary Nash to an Adams. and see if that works. Cause this just does not make any sense. and his full name was Perley Olive Cole.
just so confusing, guess I need to find a death record for his other children and see what they say.
