I have been to this site a while back. My gggrandmother was Harriet Newell Smith and she was
supposed to have been born in Bangor ME, Penobscot Co.In the 1850 census she is living with
Nahum Warren and he is the one who performed the marriage between Harriet and William C.
Jones whose father was Appollos Jones and Nancy Howard Clark was mother.Harriet was supposed
to have been born Oct. 10, 1832. I need to find her parents. I can go all around her and find
descendants but I am totally stumped on Harriet. Please, can anyone help me?
Nancy Howard Clark was daughter of John Clark and Mary Tourtelotte Clark. I did not think Smith
was such a hard one to trace.
Thanks to anyone who can give me a chance to trace this line.
