I have two Frenchs who married into my Cook family in Exeter and Garland Maine area. Albert French born 6/17/1803 and Eben French born abt 1805. My guess is that they were born in New Hampshire, perhaps Alton New Hampshire area. Probably the Frenchs came to the Exeter area in about 1825. I have some more info somewhere in my files. First, I must complete my income tax, then I will check..
