If you haven't received your answer, you should go to www.morsesociety.org and post it there (or even the Morse GenForum). I know there is a branch of the Anthony Morse line that went to Oxford County. Among them is a John S. Morse b. Abt. 1819 in Industry, Franklin, ME (line info ends there) His father was Caleb, b. 1793 in Oxford, and Caleb has four other sons - Stephen, Moses, Andrew, and Charles listed. Caleb's father was Samuel, born in Bradford, MA. I don't have a direct link to your John, but it could be a starting point.
