It's a possibility, but I've clearly got him in 1850 Fed Census in Stoneham, Middlesex Co, Mass & 1855 Massachusetts Census. Listed at the Civil War memorial there is his birthplace of Norway, Maine, in 1822. Also in Stoneham, Mass, is an Elisabeth (Stevens) Sturtevant b. 1825 in Norway, Maine. Listed on her marriage record as father is a Nathaniel Stevens. I cannot say 100% that Augustus F. & Elisabeth were siblings, but it would be a remarkable coincidence.
