Eames of Newry and Bethel

"The Eames family was first represented in this region (Oxford County, Maine) by Ebenezer and James Eames, brothers, sons of Samuel and Elizabeth (Emery) Eames of Needham, Massachusetts and Dublin, New Hampshire. These sons came from Dublin, Ebenezer settling in Bethel and James in Newry.” This excerpt is from ‘The History of Riley Plantation and Sunday River.’

I am in contact with one Eames researcher who disputes Elizabeth Emery as the mother of James and Ebenezer Eames. Her database holds Eunice Fuller as Samuel Eames’ wife and parent to the brothers. Supposedly, Eunice Fuller b. 6 Aug 1725, d. 12 January 1820, was the daughter of John Fuller and Sarah Chinery.

Question: Is there any validity to this? I know not of Eunice Fuller.
