Thanks, Mary. I have some of the information you sent re: John Roberts and Miriam Irish. My source gave Sylvanus Irish as Sylvanus Lucullus, but he was 90 when he recorded the information in 1908. Some of his other information has proven incorrect as far as names were concerned. My reason for finding a record of Nathaniel was to better establish the John and Miriam line as mine. I'm going to accept that it is, since nothing else has come close to having the right sequence of the right names. My source said that John (he had the name as Joseph) served in the Revolution, but the dates don't permit this if he was referring to his own father. More likely it was John's father Joseph who served. This is what I've been trying to confirm for DAR membership. Anything you could find that would provide that information would be appreciated, or anywhere else you can steer me to that would give me what I need. Thanks for your help.
