Abigail Runnells was the daughter of William and Abigail (Jackson) Runnells of Moscow. William came to Moscow from New Hampshire and Abigail was a local girl. Their other children besides the younger Abigail were: Sarah, William (drowned in the Kennebec at 16), Elizabeth and Mary.Abigail (Jackson) Runnells was the daughter of Laskey and Elizabeth (Randall) Jackson. William Runnells Sr married second Lydia Rowe Ellis and moved to Caratunk.They had 7 children.
The younger Abigail married William Adams and their children were: Erastus, died in the Civil War; Justus, married Mary Spaulding; Aurilla, married Joseph Adams; Flavilla and Priscilla, no record; Eleanor, married Robert Berry; Almeda, married Cy Dudley; Almeda and Wellington were twins.
