The power of a thank you

Hi Henry

Too many people don't post a thank you. It's not only impolite it often means that people who could help won't bother next time-or follow up from their first.

This was the subject of a big discussion a few years ago on another forum.

You are the best person to do the research because you are more familiar with the family. However, you may not be familiar with what old records are available or where to find them.

I am familiar with general Maine records but never research "up in the county" people.

Feel free to e-mail me if you think I can help.
