William and Mary Dow's son, James - 1860 census of Augusta, Maine

I am trying to find a connection between my great-grandfather, James Dow, and a Mary Dow who married Elisha Evans of Somerville, Maine in 1864. I've found a legal piece written by the county clerk for Somerville detailing a visit to James P. Dow in Albion by Mary and Elisha, who had moved to Palermo into a house just a few doors down from the parents of James' wife, Susan, that took place in May-June 1873 (ending just 4 days before James and Susan had their second child).

I've found a William and Mary Dow in 1860 Augusta with a 7-year-old boy named James, but I have yet to locate any information as to whether William died or what happened to the family. There was an older brother named Lleuellen who was 14 in the 1850 census (and obviously out of the house and married by 1860) and an older sister named Eliza, who appeared to have married a Albion Bangs and was still living in the house with their children in 1860.

Does anyone have any information about the Dows in Augusta?
