Hi Henry,
It seems Joyce found the right family for you. As you wanted to connect them to PEI, I looked for them in 1911 Canada census - 1920 census said they immigrated in 1904 so they should be there.
This seems to fit

Jean, age 11, son, born June 1900
Emaunnuel, age 9, son, born Nov. 1900
all are born PEI
so they were from PEI as you thought.
