Hi,
I found in the 1920 Maine census the following:
Head,Botting, Edmund age 36, born Maine
Wife, Lottie age 26, born Maine
George, age 7, (all children born Maine)
Gladys age 4 yrs, 9 mo
James, age 2 yes, 10 mo
Mary, age 11 mons.
On familysearch.org I found, New Hampshire deaths
George Botting, August 19, 1939, Albany, Carroll, NH
It's strange but I couldn't find anything on Gladys, either under Botting or Pelkey.
I assume it was the same auto accident they were in. I would call the newspaper or library in Albany, NH and see if they have a news article on the accident.
If I can be of further help let me know.
Diane
