You are right Joyce...it was written hastily as we were leaving on vacation. More information:

Caleb Gordon and Mary Ann ( or Mariam) Mapes were both from Brentwood, NH and most likely married there as they had some children born in Brentwood. Caleb b.abt 1755 Mary Ann ( or Mariam) b. abt 1758 They both died in Augusta, Maine
I have information on the Gordon line but NOTHING on MAPES

My interest in Benjamin Vining is a male who might be willing to submit DNA so I can prove my Vining line.
Benjamin Vining born 16 Nov 1738 Weymouth, Norfolk, Ma and died 2 Aug 1812 Durham, Maine...appreciate some Vining help on this line.
