Thank you for the information! I do have George P. and Olive R.'s children. One of them, Fannie O. married Lamont Griffith, my ggrandfather. So the Fannie Bracket you had listed is not my line.

My brick wall are the parents of George P. Wright born in Palmyra and Olive R. Gray born in Harmony, his wife.

I have the towns they were born in but cannot access parent's names. The 1940 census which probably would give me their father doesn't list children by name as you know. The few town records I can access list nothing noteworthy. I do have access to Ancestry.com. but so far, keep hitting that brick wall.

I've found that there are many Olive Grays in Maine at that time period. Without a clue to a parent, I'm stymied. Any ideas are welcome!
