Hi Joyce, thank you for that response.

I was able to access the 1940 Census, but unable to access any others. The section for verifying their 1940 location as the same in the 1930 census says the same address.

The 1900-10-20, and 1930 census' for Oscar's location within the State of Maine were unknown to us, and also - could his residence in Canada be clarified via their latest census prior to 1905?

What other method[s] could be used to determine his arrival in Maine from Canada? AND does the 1920 census use the same format - re: is last address in prior census the same as 1920?
