Information on John J Bryson and Mary Ann Kelley
I have traced John J Bryson and Mary Ann Kelley of Bristol, NH, (originally of Londonderry, N. Ireland; and of Dublin, Ireland, respectively) as being my great great grandparents on one line of my ancestry. I would love a little more information on them. I'll provide what I have currently, and if anyone has anything to add, it would be wonderful; specifically, I'd like more information on John J Bryson and his parents, grandparents, and on back.
John J Bryson was born aprox. 1834 in Londonderry, and was the son of James Bryson. He worked as a machinist and served in the American Civil War as a private in a Maine regiment. His wife, Marry Ann Kelley, was born around 1835 in Dublin, according to this record:

A Scottish census record I was able to view on Ancestry.com placed John in North Prison in Lanarkshire, Scotland, at the age of 17; for what charges, I don't know.
An 1880 US census record names Mary Ann Bryson as the head of her household in Bristol, New Hamshire (later her place of death), with three children and a Maine man, aged 53, of unknown relation by the name of Eliss Eastman; his marital status is listed as "widow" and his relation of the head of house is unlisted. Her children residing in the residence at the time were Thomas Bryson, 21; John Bryson, 17; and William Bryson, 11, all born in Maine.
The e-book linked above also confirms these as her children, though birth years for both Mary Ann and her first two children, Thomas and John, differ in the census record. Death records from Bristol, NH, where her and her husband both passed, also place her birth year as 1935, however. I'm unsure as to the reason for these differences.
I found a source on Ancestry.com listing her father as Mathew Kelley, but, as with John Bryson's father James, have found no trace for him yet.
Both Mary Ann and John are buried in Homeland Cemetery in Bristol, NH.

Links to Mary and two of their sons can also be found on the above page.
For now, my focus lays primarily with the Bryson side. If anyone has any information on a James Bryson from around the correct time period, who may have had a son named John Bryson, John J Bryson, or John James Bryson born in Londonderry in around 1834, it would be incredibly helpful. I'd also love to know what John was imprisoned for in Scotland, but those records could be even harder to come by.
I hope this information will be of help to someone, and I certainly hope someone can help me with what I'm looking for.
