My Ben Bailey Jr. was the son of Benjamin Bailey and Mary Blake. Although his estate notice shows him as Ben Jr., his obit and grave marker show him as Captain. He was a Captain in the 1812 War, was court marshalled but so were a lot of men in that foolish war.
I think I'll keep an open mind on the possibility of a marriage to Jane Burnham. He'd have been 19 in 1808 (born 1789). Perhaps...! I appreciate the help.
