Did they have only sons?
Posted by: C (ID *****2516) Date: April 20, 2012 at 15:10:12
In Reply to: Bakers of Township 39 Maine (late 1890s-early 1900s) Riceville by Ryan Prescott of 27718

From the census data is appears that a John Baker and a Joseph Baker were brothers, apparently sons of John and Celina/Salina Baker from Canada.

From 1910,1920, 1930 in Bradley, ME the sons of these two men are listed as John or John B, George and Joseph. John B married Adelia, Adelaide unk from Massachusetts. Also had a son John B(aptist) Baker. Sometimes they are listed with the parents John and Salina, sometimes together as brothers. Doesn't appear they had any daughters. And sons were not married up to 1930 as they are listed as single men.

However the senior John and Salina, did have several daughters, maybe one of them married a Nolette?

Riceville was certainly an interesting place from the 'ghost town' stories!

Also found a military record (Cuba), may or may not be the son John.

Good Luck
