I'm assuming that you would look at the records very carefully. I'm just quickly flashing around trying to find a clue for you.
In your first post you said you had found him in 1930 and 1940. If you found him in 1930 and it was not
Frank with Mable then you can forget about them. Seems to me that the Frank with Mable gave his birthplace as Maine as well as his parents born Maine. Mable was born in another state so my thought was that they may have married someplace (hopefully with more detailed records)before coming to Colorado. You have better records than I have and in truth mine was a quick look.
I am not at all familiar with Colorado records. Is there any chance you have a Colorado "Marriage Record Report" which looks to me like an index card?
