Have not done any serious genealogy for a few years (been doing history) and never much on Machias.
The Jonesboro VRs (which are likely the ones copied in the 1930s) used to be a separate record set at New England Historic Genealogical Society website-might also be at Porter Library.
You can check Drisko's book but Rev. Lyons may be before the time period you are searching. The marriage records are in Machias SOMEPLACE also a later Rev. B????? (don't remember the name).
EJF's only Foss reference in Bryant section is "Hattie" Bryant and Charles Franklin Foss (1st marriage Inez E. Foss). There is/was a website "New England Bryant Genealogy".Want details from EJF?
I think you may "to cast a larger net" than just Machias for Foss/Miller-Pleasant River at least.
If Hannah Miller was "the widow" Miller in addition to complicating things it opens up possible records at Probate and Deeds (which could apply to Anna as well).
