Thank you. Vallee' was my sister-in-law. I'm trying to find the family of Cone Wafer so my son can have contact and if possible meet them. I'm also trying to research his line of the Wafer family. My son's grandfather was James Nicholas Wafer b 1906. He was the son of Mordaunt Menefee Wafer b 1872 and Cornelia Scott Wafer. Mordaunt's brother was Cone Wafer and I believe they had a sister named Mattie Wafer b 1875. I don't know if there were any more siblings. Their parents were James Cane Wafer b 1850 in Louisiana and Emma J Wafer b. 1855 in Alabama. I know that Mordaunt Menefee Wafer was born in Louisiana, but I think Cone and Mattie were born in either Mclennan or Hill County Texas. This as far as I've been able able to research. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
