I'm looking for members of the Cone and Lura Wafer (I'm not sure I spelled her name correctly) family. Cone came from Hill County Texas, and was the brother of Mordaunt "Mout" Menefee Wafer. He was the uncle of Nick (my late father-in-law) and Sidney Tatum Wafer. Lura's sister Sarah came to visit us in Fort Worth Texas in the mid 70's with her daughter, Norma. Later, her daughter Jackie & her husband came down in their motor home. They always stayed with my inlaws, Nick and Thelma Wafer. Thelma is still alive (96 years old), and living in assisted living in Hayes Kansas. My husband Bill Wafer passed away in 1993. We have one child, Nicholas Counts Wafer born on November 1,1986. He is the last living son with the Wafer name from this line of the family and I would very much like for him to meet his Maine and New Hampshire distant cousins. I know that Cone and Lura had one daughter, and that she had children and grandchildren.
