The marriage intentions of James White and Nancy Kenney, both of Dixfield, were published in Jay, Maine, 20 Jan. 1804. Anna "Nancy" Kenney was the daughter of Stephen and Mary (Bartlett) Kenney, born 16 Nov. 1780 in Sutton, Mass.

You'll notice that Nancy had a sister "Thamer," which would explain where Tamer got her name.
