Hi Phyllis,

Thank you for your response and suggestions. Eunice's first husband was William F. Hopkinson of Fort Fairfield. He died during the 1860s. Their three children were Mary, Greenville Mellen (multitude of variations) and William F. also seen as Wilma on one of the censuses.

Sadly Fort Fairfield only has marriage records until about 1890. All other were lost either to fire or water. Eunice is believed to be from the Unity, ME area and her family isn't listed in the Unity town records either. She continues to elude me and unfortunately, I live in CA and therefore have no way of checking the Maine State Archives microfilms for the records I'm looking for.
