Harry Carl Sampson of Lewiston, Maine

I am looking for info on a man named Harry Carl Sampson who had a child named Lillian Beatrice Sampson with Mederise L'heureux in Lewiston Maine in Oct 1906. Mederise filed a birth certificate about 30 years after the event and put that Harry Carl Sampson was the father, born in California and employed as a painter living in Lewiston Maine at the time of Lillian's birth.

I have hit a brick wall. Any help would be appreciated.
