The initial is "A" so he could be the one listed in Stephen's home.
I do not have access to census data.
I do know that a W.A. Moore lived next door to James Trench and family and surmised as you did that he was the one who married Mary Ann Trench.
Would appreciate more census info, in particular is Stephen listed as Almeron's father or don't they do that in the 1850 census?
An extra plus would be a copy of the household of James Trench.
