one more piece:

married 23 Feb 1857 Ste-Sophie (Ste Sophie d'Halifax)
Alfred Bergeron, minor son of the late Julien Bergeron and of Basilisse Grenier of Warwick
Marcelline Labonte, adult daughter of the late Joseph Labonte and of Louise (last name looks like Ruel) of this parish

So, if Alfred was a minor when he married in Feb 1857 he probably is the same person as "Louis Alphred Bergeron" who was bapt in March 1837. I'm not sure what age was considered minor, but since he was still 19 at the time of his marriage I bet he would fall into that category. Still looking around.

were you aware that many of the French Catholic church records are available for viewing at familysearch.org?
