Looking for help in locating information about James Peters b. July 1799 possibly in Nova Scotia. Married Susanna Moores b. Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada. Married in Canada or Maine. 1850 census finds them living in Calais, Milltown, Washington County, Maine. By 1880 they were in Stanford Township, Isanti County, Minnesota.
Have not been able to find parents of James Peters or siblings.
Believe that the parents of Susanna Moores are Nathaniel Moores and Rebecca Mitchell. Who were Susanna's siblings?
Anyone out there who fits in with these Peters or Moores families?
