Thank you for the information. I do have that census and the information on it is correct. Clarence McCullough is my grandfather. She did in fact marry him. He passed away in Seattle Washington from complications to a stroke and emphazima(sp)around 1968. The census with Kate, I don't believe I have. I have only one and that is Herbert, Catherine, and Leddy Bridgit, who I believe could be her mother as it shows female. They had a daughter, my grandmother Ellen Dorothy Knowles etc. around 1893, St. Paul Minnesota depending on what was going on with my grandmother. About a year ago I happen to find a picture with three women. On the back it says, Syliva my sister. This was taken at Mt. Rainer around 1966-68, Washington. That's all I know. It was a surprise to all of us. I did find one of the families where Ellen lived. This was her aunt and uncle. Abner Knowles and Rosalie Knowles. I do have a picture of I believe it to be Catherine on her wedding day. The husband is cut out. The story went Ellen was put into a convent in Canada. This may or may not be true. I did find a Catherine Katie B Knowles who shows up at the Tacoma Wash. Mental Hospital. My grandmother Ellen had some form of dementia or something at a early age. I wonder if she was commited and the girls were put into the convent. There is a story that Ellen went to Skagway Alaska around her age 16. I believe this to be true as one of her husbands had been there. Herbert later married a Rose Knoroler. I don't think they had any children. This is about all I know. Do you know this family? Do you have any additional information?I'm looking for anything on this entire family. I cannot find anything current and very little from the past.
