Is this your great-grandaddy?

ED# 18, page 13B

Everett E. Ford, 30, b. Oct. 1869, ME, both parents b. ME, married 4 years, farm laborer
Alice M., wife, 21, b. July 1878, Canada (English), both parents b. Canada (English), mother of 3, 2 living, emigrated 1890.
Elbridge B., son, 3, b. Sept. 1896, Maine
Merton, son, 8 months, b. Sept. 1899, Maine
--------------

If that's him, you should try contacting the Fort Fairfield town clerk for a marriage record for him. That might have his parents' names on it. The town clerk might have a birth record for him there, too. A death certificate might also list parents' names, if you know where he died.

P.O. Box 350
Fort Fairfield, Maine 04742

Birth, marriage or death certificates:
$10 for certified copy; $5 for each additional copy
