Hi Mary
Sorry to have confused you. I did take a look at the 1850 Bingham, Somerset Co., Maine Census and I did see Samuel Clark age 71 and Sally Clark age 71. But when I look at the 1860 census for Maine. 3 Samuel Clark's show up being about the same age. The Samuel Clark in Bristol does have a wife named Sally. The Samuel Clark living in Bingham is living with Richard York and Sally and their 3 children. But his wife has pasted away sometime between 1850-1860. Have you looked at all the cemeteries in Bingham for him?
So that would mean that your Samuel Clark is not the same Samuel as the one in Bristol. Are you sure that your Samuel Clark married Sally Boyd?
I am not sure how much you have looked for Samuel and Sally. Because in the 1820 census there is a Samuel living in Norridgewock and Fairfield, Maine. If you would like me to look more tell me what records you have looked at all ready and I will look. I do live in Maine and can go to the state library and look for you. But if you have all ready looked I don't want to look at the same stuff as you.
Dawn :)
