Priscilla - I'm also researching this Wood family as Ursula Wood, daughter of Butler Wood and Sarah Star, was my ggg grandmother.Ursula is indeed mentioned in the Wentworth Genealogy as she married Noah Wentworth(son of Ichabod Wentworth and Rhoda Berry)not Warren Waterhouse. Warren Waterhouse married her sister, Savilla. Savilla and Warren were married May 30, 1860, and can be found in the 1870 Vassalboro census along with children Fred, Belle, and Henry. Ursula and Noah's children were Edwin, William, Mary, Leander, Gilmore, Llewellyn, Annie, Violet, Norah, Willis, Lydia, and Lizzie. My great grandmother, Carrie Wentworth, daughter of Edwin Wentworth, married her first cousin Virgil Wentworth, son of Leander Wentworth....so I guess Butler and Sarah Wood would be my "double" gggg grandparents.

I've been to Vassalboro and visited the Union Cemetery where Butler and Sarah(her gravestone reads Sally- but Ursula's death certificate lists her as Sarah Star b. Vassalboro)are buried. Noah and Ursula are also buried there along with some of their children.

I've not come across your Sarah Smith Wood in my research, but it doesn't mean that she wasn't a daughter of Butler and Sarah Wood.I have their children listed as Ursula, Benjamin, John, Samuel, and Savilla.

In the Union Cemetery in Vassalboro, all buried in the same plot and not too far from the Wentworth's are William Bellmore and Sarah Starr his wife, Oscar their son, Edward Starr and Mary his wife, Willam Tarbell and Mary A. his wife, and Howard son of William and Mary Tarbell, and Miss Pauline Getchell. Any idea if Edward Starr and Sarah Starr Bellmore are related to our Sally Starr Gaslin/Gastlin/Gazlin. Thanks. Laura
