Bangor friends of Mrs. Abbie Varney Hillman will regret to learn of her death which occurred in Boscowen, N.H., Tuesday, after a long illness.
Mrs. Hillman lived in Bangor for many years. She was born in Lowell, Maine, the daughter of Levi and Lydia Varney.
She is survived by her husband, Marriner Hillman; three daughters, Mrs. Edwin S. Hadley of Penacook, N.H., Mrs. Harry M. Diedling of Catskill, N.Y., Mrs. Edward F. Boyd of Winchester, Mass., and one son, Herbert H. Hovey of Milo; also two sisters, Mrs. Charles Priest of Bangor, Mrs. Frank Carlson of Brockton, Mass., and one brother, Levi L. Varney of Roslindale, Mass.
Funeral services will be held at her home in Boscawen Thruday afternoon. Interment will be in Wildwood cemetery, Winchester, Mass.
