You can get Maine marriage dates after 1892 for free at the Maine archives website: http://www.maine.gov/sos/arc/

PIKE INEZ M residence DEERING, ME
MANNING HARRY C residence DEERING, ME married 09-29-1896

ANDERSON HILDA A residence PORTLAND, ME
MANNING HENRY C residence PORTLAND, ME married 02-06-1902

a copy of either marriage record should give Henry/Harry's parents names. The archives charges $6 for non certified copies.
