Cynthia, Thanks for responding. No, I do not have photosexcept for two. Do you have any? I was looking for William N.Butterfield's father--Nathaniel Gibbs Butterfield. He did name one son after his father. The father would have been born before 1835. One source mentioned he was born in Connecticut but I am not certain that is correct.
Samuel Butterfield was William's brother as well as a Benjamin Edgar Butterfield. They were born in the Turks in the 1850's. By finding Samuel I hope to be able to track down the father.
