Normally (for an early record) you would call the town clerk in the place where a person died and tell them what record you would like a copy of. This should be no trouble since you now have her likely place and date of death. I like this site for addresses and phone numbers to write or call for vital records: http://www.vitalrec.com/

From that site I got this:

Readfield Town Clerk
Old Kents Hill Rd
Readfield, ME 04355
(207) 685-4939

Each town has it's own fee schedule, but it shouldn't cost too much. Later records can also be obtained from the state archives in some cases, but I think this one is too early. Call or write the town clerk above and you should be able to get Nancy's death record from them.
