That was the correct marriage the other person found on the Maine archives site for you. That site is free for everyone to search at http://www.maine.gov/sos/arc/http://www.maine.gov/sos/arc/I don't know why you have Richard for his first name, but maybe he preferred that to his real name??? I found this at the St Petersburg Times website:
HALL, CARLTON P., 65, of Largo, died Saturday (Dec. 28, 1996) at Tierra Pines Health Care Center, Largo. He was born in Freedom, Maine, and came here in 1984 from Theresa, Wis. He worked for 10 years as an installer for Advance Cable, Largo. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include a son, John, Port Clyde, Maine; two daughters, Nancy Williams and Peggy Sawyer, both of Portland, Maine; two brothers, Russell, Gardiner, Maine, and Joe, Minnesota; three sisters, Carlene Kotz, San Diego, Jean Robel, Minnesota, and Gloria Stout, Gardiner, and his fiancee, Myrle E. Gilkey, Largo. National Cremation Society, Largo.
These two entries were on the social security death index:
RUSSELL E HALL15 Nov 1925 24 Dec 1999 (V) 04359 (South Gardiner, Kennebec, ME)
DOROTHY HALL08 Jul 1905 Sep 1975 04359 (South Gardiner, Kennebec, ME)
I also found Murray and Dorothy with son Russell apparently living with her parents in Freedom, ME 1930.They were Frank and Belle Penney. With their first names I was able to find them on the Maine marriage index:
Bride Name: VOSE BELLE M
Bride Town/State: KNOX, ME
Groom Name: PENNEY FRANK W
Groom Town/State: FREEDOM, ME
Date of Marriage: Sunday May 28, 1899
