I have a Catherine Sweetser born 1766 and her brother Joseph b 1772 living in Prospect MA in the 1780's when she married William McLaughlin (b. 1762) son of James McLaughlin.

There is a John Sweetser who seems to be her father according to town records.

Catherine Sweetser and William McLaughlin were married in Prospect, Frankfort Co, Maine then are found in 1790- Frankfort Town, Hancock Co., Maine. They later removed to Cambridge Vermont and from Cambridge to Argentiel Seignorie Canada and from Argentiel to Fort Covington State of New York by 1829.

William fought in the Rev War.

Catherine lived to the age of 96 after moving to the wilds of Grand Traverse Co, Michigan. Catherine and William McLaughlin's children were William, James, John, Miranda and Seth.

please contact me with possible kin folk.
