Hi Cathy-
As I was plowing through all the various vital record results related to your family I was again reminded of how much variation there can be in the records- info given by humans and recorded by humans- therein lies the problem!
Add to that every time the records get transcribed and the mistakes and misinformation is mind boggling. It is a wonder we ever connect the dots! I have seen family burial plots where they cannot agree on the spelling of the last name- 3 ways...
Whatever, here is whatI found-
Starting right off with a bang there are 2 entries in the Maine State Archive for the marriage of Benjamin and "Lizzie"-
Benjamin L. Fuller of Dover m. Lizzie B. Dore of Bangor -
July 11, 1863- in Piscataquis County
Maine State Archives roll 5, vol 2, page 134
Benj. Fullerof Dover m. Lizzie B. Dore of Bangor -
July 14, 1862- in Penobscot County
MSA roll 3, vol 4, page 270
Granted - one of the dates could be filing of intentions but the 1860 census proves both dates wrong- esp. since they had 3 children at the time. I think Benj. mother (Ann /Anna)was too old at the time(59) to have the children be hers.
The 1900 census had them married 39 yrs-c.1861 but the 1910 census had them married 51 years-c.1859- go figure...
All census were read from the handwritten text except the 1880 census from the Morman site. Most census are taken in June but they can range from April to Sept. Only the 1900 census bothered to ask which month the person was born in- which can help clarify a lot!
So...starting at the beginning and working foward-
EVERONE WAS BORN IN MAINE UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED
1850 census for Bangor, Penobscot County-done Sept/ page 121a-
Joseph Dore- age 46, Laborer
Nancy Dore- age 41
*Elizabeth Dore- age 21( no question- very clear!)
Joseph Dore- age 17
L or Santha? Dore- age 14(female)[all the Ls and Ss look alike]
John Dore- age 10
1850 census for Dover, Piscataquis County- done Aug/page 283/283a-
Abraham Fuller- age 45, Farmer
Ann Fuller- age 47
Eunice Fuller- age 19
Nath'l Fuller- age 18, Farmer
George(?) Fuller- age 14,Farmer
*Benj/m Fuller- age 16, Farmer

1860 census for Dover, Piscataquis County,done July/ page 819-
Abram Fuller- age 55, Farmer
Ann A. Fuller- age 59
Benjamin Fuller- age 25, Farmer
Elizabeth-- Fuller- age 25( yes, very interesting!)
[childrens names very hard to read]
?L? era E. Fuller- age 4(male)
?K?ezzie? Fuller- age 2 (female)
Lewis Fuller- infant male- (named for Benj. Lewis) I think Elizabeth must have lost 2 children after this census - in the 1910 census she is said to have 6 children- only 4 living
compare these children to the 1870 census
1870 census for Dover,Piscataquis County/done July-page 56-
(The family was still in Dover in 1870 and stayed together all through the years)
Fuller- Abram- age 65, Farmer, in Albion
Anna A.-age 70, Keeping house,b. Camden
Benj.L.- age 37, Farmer, b. Dover
Elizabeth B.- age 46,Keeping house,b.Athens(I think)
Edwin S or L.-age 13- at home,b. Dover(c.1857)
Anna S(?)- age 11, at home, b. Dover(c.1859)
Alice A.-age 6,at home,b.Dover(c1864)
Walter S(?)- age 3,at home,b.Dover(c.1867)
John - age 7/12- infant,b. Dover(c.Dec'1869/Jan'70)
1880 census for Easton, Aroostook County- done?
This is the census from the Morman site online(http://www.familysearch.org) and we cannot review the original text for ourselves- note the error in the age of Edwin! This is the least desirable way to view census-
Benjamin L. Fuller- age 45, Farmer, parents b. Me
Elizabeth B. Fuller-wife,age 50,Keeping House,parents b. Me.
Edwin L. Fuller-son,age 28(23),Farmer,parents b. Me.
Alice A.Fuller-dau,age 16,Teaching school
Walter S. Fuller-son,age 13, at home
John D. Fuller-son,age 10, at home
Gertrude FULTON-"other", age 3,b. Maine,parents also
Ann N.Fuller- mother,age 79,b. Me,fa-NH,mo-Mass
so...just for the fun of it lets review Elizabeth-
in 1850 census she was 21-b.c.1829
in 1860 census she was 25-b.c.1835
in 1870 census she was 46-b.c.1824
in 1880 census she was 50-b.c.1830
in 1900 census she was 70-b.c.1830
