Helen,
Thank you sooo much, you have been a huge help. To clarify a few records, I believe the Vital Cliche and Delvina Cliche with family are descendents of Jean Baptiste Cliche and either Marie Laguex or Genevieve Bourbeau. Which would make this Vital a cousin or second cousin to my Vital Cliche. I have verified through records that my Vital Cliche was married born 1826, married Anathalie Roy Audi in 1850, Quebec, Canada. They had one child, Alfred " Fred" Cliche, born 1851, St.Joseph,Beauce,Quebec,Canada and who died 1914, Dexter, Maine. Anathalie Roy Audi died in 1857, Quebec, Canada and Vital Cliche married Sylvie Bisson. The children Eugenie, Lea, Alphonsine, Joseph, Marie Louise, Felextine are their offspring.
In addition, I think you hit the Ellen Coote living with her grandparents, on the head. I have a marriage certificate for my great-grandmother,stating "Ellen Coote, born 1856, Quebec,Canada, father listed as Micheal Coote,Irish born, married William Lahey, born Sept 1856, in Fort Kent,Aroostock, Maine 1881. Ellen Coote might not be in the Maine 1880 census if she immigrated later in 1880, after census completed.
You have been a "God-Send", I have been up against a major brickwall on this family for years. If you run across any other goodies, please let me know.
God Bless you,
Therese
