From the Maine State Archives-Marriage Index-
Roll 4, vol 6, page 503-
George W. Badger married Mary E. Church in Penobscot County
George was from Stetson, Penobscot Co and Mary was from Harmony, Somerset Co. No date was listed but presume it must have been early 1880s.
Maine Census- 1850-
Ripley( next to Harmony Somerset Co)- page 120a/121
Gideon Church- age 39, Farmer, b. Me.
Lydia Church- age 39, b. Me
Pamelia - age 15
Betsy - age 13
Sylva- age 10
Charles- age 8
Caroline- age 2( looks like Arroline)
Either Lydia is a first wife and died before Mary's birth in 1859 or Lydia is Martha's middle name.
From the Maine 1850 census- all the Badgers listed in Somerset County-
Canaan- page 64
Moses Badger- age 61, farmer, b. NH
Nancy Badger- age 31, b. Maine
if this is his 2nd wife then she was a lot younger than Moses and all of the children by his first marriage were on their own- 2nd family yet to be born...
Canaan- page 69
Bryant Badger- age 50, Farmer, b. Maine
Polly- age 45
John- age 6
Mary- age 9

either these were grandparents taking in g.ch. or they were youngest of a large family left at home
Palmyra- page 6
Jonathan Badger- age 48, b. Maine
Harriet- age 47
Lorana- age 21
Charles- age 10

I can snail-mail you copies of any of the census pages.
I can't access the 1900 Maine census tonight but if you need this let me know-
