I find on Ancestry Family trees the following:
Michael Chapman b 1 May 1786 Nobleboro ME. d 21 Apr 1837 , buried in Chapman Cemetery on Back Medow Road, behind Anthony's house ( very hard to find) Photo of stone in possession of Leonard Chapman Anaheim CA. Married Nancy Chapman b abt 1789, in Oct 1806, 11 children b between 1807 and 1844, ( it appears to me too much time between the 10th 1828 and the last 1844)
Michael was the son of Thomas Chapman b ,6 Dec 1754 Nobleboro ME, died 17 Apr 1829 Nobleboro, and Sarah Hussey b 28 May 1759 ME, married 15 Sep 1778 Newcastle ME
then Anthony Chapman 9 Sept 1713 Ipswich MA and Sarah Patch 15 Dec 1714 Wenham MA; Then Nathaniel; Nathaniel; and Edward 1612 Yorkshire Eng.
I have a Chapman line but not this one.
