need Dresden house help/ Costellow?

I know this may not be the place to ask this but I am desparate.

My house is in Dresden, Maine. It is the former South Dresden Post Office (I believe it was a post office in 1946). We have no information on the age of the house- the town hall has no records before 1935. Deed research has us back to 1825, but we seem to have hit a brick wall. The locals tell me it may have belonged to the Costellow Family and served as a general store as well. If anyone knows anything about the old south dresden post office and who may have been the post master, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
