I am trying to find out the names of ALL the CUSHMAN PRIOR and Deborah Randall (TREFETHEN) PRIOR children. On the 1840 census in Kittey, York, Me, Cushman had 3 sons and 7 daughters. But by 1850 census he only had 3 sons and one daughter, Lydia. I need to know ALL the names of the other children. At one time this family (PRIOR) lived in Lincoln County Maine. Cushman PRIOR was one of the sons of George PRIOR and Lydia CUSHMAN. An interesting note: George PRIOR and Lydia CUSHMAN's father, Apollos CUSHMAN resided on Long Island, Lincoln, Maine as far back as 1810. I believe they were both born in Duxbury, Plymouth, Mass in the late 1700's. If you could help me name ALL the children, that would help me find out if my paternal great grandmother Eliza Ann PRIOR, born 2 Nov 1831 in Seavey's (aka Trefethen's) Island, Kittery, York, Maine; is one of his children. She married Augustus Andrew REMICK in 13 Sep 1858 in Providence, RI. I found her also in an 1850 census in the household of Samuel Augustus PARKER and his wife Mary Watson (PRIOR)PARKER. In the same household is a Sarah PRIOR, age 16. Since the census on Ancestry.com does not indicate the PRIOR girls relationship, I assume that they are sisters, esp since they were all born in Maine. Mary Watson PRIOR was born in 1 March 1827, and Sarah R PRIOR would have been born about 1834. If you can help prove or disprove any of this info and esp find their parental line, please contact me at <gail_veve@yahoo.com> Thanks for any and all help. Gail (REMICK) Veve
