Joseph A. Rogers, b. 1849 Appleton, ME

I am looking for information about the family of my great-grandfather, Joseph A. Rogers, who was born in Maine in 1849. I believe he is the Joseph A. Rogers who was born in Appleton, son of John and Sarah Rogers. John Rogers was born in Massachusetts about 1799 and Sarah (maiden name?) was born in Maine about 1809. John and Mary also had Edward G., Alfred, Franklin, Emaline or Evaline, Caroline, and Sarah E.

Joseph A. Rogers moved to Iowa by 1870 and married Elizabeth Boyington.

Does anyone recognize this family?

Ann Davis
