Seeking information on Russell Davis GRAY (1899-????) s/o Carl. R. (1867-1939) and Harriette GRAY (1869-1956), Great-grand parents were George DAVIS (1798-1870) and Catherine (Young) DAVIS (1804-1849), of Cushing, Knox County, ME. 1)-Thomaston (ME) Scrapbook, page 186, (written after Dec 1955) reported this surviving son of "Carl of the Union Pacific", Carl Raymond Gray (1867-1939) and Harriette (Flora) GRAY (1869-1956) was Russell Davis GRAY (1899-????) -- "He lived in town for some years and built boats near the old Upper Toll Bridge.", 2)- 'Time' magazine's article on Harriette, 3 May 1937, page 17, stated; "...Russell Davis, 37, is Boston freight representative of the Pennsylvania R.R..", 3)- Was in Washington D.C., had dinner with father Carl and brother Carl, Jr., evening of Carl's death, 9 Dec 1939. 4)- Her obituary, 19 Jun 1956, simply said he lived in Baltimore, MD, the location of grave site for both Carl & Harriette., 5)- 'The Compendium of American Genealogy, Vol. VI' states; "2- Russell Davis, b Wichita, Kan., Nov. 2,1899; pvt. U.S. Marine Corps, World War; m Oct. 8, 1921, Eleanor, dau. Herbert Pitt (issue: Eleanor Howard):" Any and all information will be greatly appreciated, including death date, location & where buried.
