I have large file of records of David Kinnison, d. 1852 in Chicago. He lived in Waterville from c. 1812 to c. 1817. His autobiography is mostly fictitious. Believe he had brothers Joseph 1764, Josiah 1773,, Joab 1780 and their father was perhaps Joab, listed as Cenerstone in 1790 census of Poplin, which was part of Brintwood/Brentwood until separated in 1764.
David's pension file, online via Footnote, has his medical discharge age 42 in 1814, and elsewhere in Ancestry his enlistment in 1813 as well as that of Joseph 1813 show births in Brentwood.David claimed service in Revolution, false, while Joseph did so serve. Muster roll of company David claimed to be in does not have his name. I have census records of David for every decade 1790 to 1750 and much other material about military service of various Kennisons, however spelled.
