FATAL ACCIDENT to a SOLDIER - On Sunday evening, as the Arrow was steaming up the Sacramento, Corporal Charles H. EMERY, of Captain GORMAN's cavalry company, fell overboard and was drowned in spite of every effort to save him. He had been sick and at the time of the accident wore an overcoat, which prevented his swimming. Deceased was a native of Waterville, Maine, aged 37 years.
