Sometimes you will find records in the Massachusetts State
Archives - they are well indexed, take a trip down there -
to Morrissey Boulevard, at Columbia Point. The court records
are not in the index, but are separately indexed. You will want
to look at the suffolk court index.
You can also check some records in Maine, like the Maine
Province and Court Records. York county court index is
online at the US GenWeb Archives. All of Maine was York
County until 1760, so be sure to check the york county
deeds in Alfred.
