Beede family of Surry and Blue Hill, Maine

I am searching for the parents and family origins of Earl E. Beede, who was born in July of 1889 in Surry, Hancock County, Maine, son of a Mr. Beede and wife, Gertrude ( maiden name unknown ). He had a brother named Ralph E. Beede, born in Feb. of 1892. By 1900, their mother, Gertrude, was widowed and living in the household of Roswell B. Eaton in Blue Hill, Hancock County, Maine. By 1910, Earl E. Beede was a yeoman living in Blue Hill with wife, Nellie E., and married less than a year with a baby of 2 months of age named Arnold E. It is believed that both baby and mother died. By 1920, Earl E. Beede was living in Portsmouth, N.H., married twice more, had more children, and died in July of 1964. Later census records in N.H. state that his father was born in Mass. and that his mother was born in Maine. Am searching for the parents and family origins of Earl E. Beede, whose name was spelled incorrectly as Bude on the 1900 census. I have been told that the 1890 census burned. Can anyone help?
